As of 2023, I have accepted a position with Akixi Ltd. as a Business Support Analyst, and am no longer accepting job offers.
In my time at Apple (2012-2022), I worked in both product support outreach and back-end administration (via Sprinklr), to ensure our customers’ messages got to the right place. I created, tested, and implemented rule sets for inbound tasks from multiple platforms, while balancing my existing workload and addressing the troubleshooting needs of my team. Additionally, I documented the procedures for updating, expanding, and maintaining these functions. Furthermore I collaborated in the development of our task management interface, provided UI and functionality feedback directly to the development team and tested new builds as they were released.
Outside of my professional career, I’ve worked to manage metadata and handle user tickets for the TheTVDB, offering direction and insight toward the end goal of providing the most accurate information possible to hundreds of applications and tens of thousands of end users worldwide. My passions include system/network maintenance, cataloging digital media, and solving unexpected technical mysteries that arise at 2AM.
From a young age, I taught myself to work with countless computer interfaces, modify compiled applications and games via hex editors, and solve minor technical problems with unreasonable urgency. My first serious website ran on an Apache web-server via a static dial-up IP address in 1998. By 1999 I purchased minimal web-hosting from a small-time provider, and subsequently created a miniature social network for my group of local and internet friends (years before such a platform would become popular in mainstream culture). I once wrote the obfuscation code for our PHP authentication system in a composition notebook during school hours, and implemented it by 4PM that day. My users would find ways to bypass and exploit the posting/login systems, and I would patch them before sunrise.
None of my education is formal, and a ton of my experience is abstract or from the sidelines, but my heart and soul go into every project I touch. It is my belief that you will want your project to be my next technical obsession.
